This is a proof-of-concept for a point-and-click game engine I'm working on; it only takes about five minutes to play through. The artwork is all hand-drawn pen sketches that I scanned and colored in on the computer.

To move around, just click on the ground wherever you want to go. White icons appear over some objects; when you're standing close enough, you can click the icon to interact with it.

The game engine is inspired by bitsy. My goal was to make an engine with similar capabilities for quickly creating simple games and interactive stories, but using hand-drawn sketches instead of pixel art.

The source code for the game, level editor, and other tools is available on GitHub. There is also a Creator's Guide describing the data file syntax.

Note: this game might not work in older browsers, and does not seem to work in Safari. It should work in newer versions of Chrome or Firefox.

I wish I could say "This game is great" but all I can see is a game which is made by slide mechanics and lots of bug

This showed up on my itch.io feed man am i glad, because this is a v cool proof of concept! I see that this came out in 2020 so not sure if you're still working on this, but it really does feel quite intuitive and travelling across the map is very easy.

Looks great! I'd love to see a larger game come out of this, but don't forget about the Wanderer storyline before you start a new project! In all seriousness, do what you enjoy. Stay safe!
